DJs Dougie T, SLWMO, Dynasty, & Heartless

As part of my ongoing mission to photograph more DJs, I brought my camera with me to Green Matter’s show at Larimer Lounge to collaborate with her opening DJs throughout the night. The ever-talented riddim artist Th0rn reached out to me after his set for me to take photos of him back in the green room, where we played around and ended up with some epic grungy shots as I praised his absolutely amazing set. While we were shooting, Sydney of fellow opening act SLWMO walked in and I convinced her to let me snag some content for her and her partner, Matt. Talking to them about their 15-year friendship and capturing their undeniable synergy was just as fun as their bass-heavy performance. I later befriended two other DJs, Dynasty & Heartless, who let me shoot them both at Larimer Lounge & their set at Milk Bar, where the high energy ended my night with a bang. The night was unforgettable, and the opportunity to network & show off my signature grunge aesthetic while headbanging my heart out was a dream come true.
