About Me
My name is Sarah Kullman, and although I was born in Dallas, Texas, I consider myself a Colorado native having moved here when I was 4 years old. Inspired by my older sister Rachel Cox, a photography professor with her work showcased all over the world, I was delighted to be gifted my first camera when I was 10 years old. My photography journey continued to expand with classes in high school and my eventual tenure as Photojournalism Editor in Chief for my school newspaper.
After graduating high school in 2016, I felt a void in my life pursing a business & event management degree at MSU Denver. Thus, in 2019, The Mile High Millennial was conceived. While I fully recognize I’m more of a Zillennial than a Millennial, that doesn’t quite roll off the tongue as well, and I wanted to encapsulate the 420 & Denver-based nature of this blog.
As a multifaceted creative, I wanted this project to be the intersection of everything I loved- photography, writing, weed, Denver, travel, and all of the adjacent subcultures that surround those things. I’m a foodie, social butterfly, adventurer, and EDM enthusiast always on the go, a dull moment feeling foreign to me. Whether I’m curating a cannabis-themed photoshoot, exploring Denver’s hotspots, or participating in 420-centric activities, I’m constantly seeking new ways to connect, create, and share the vibrant experiences that define my life and passions.
