Denver’s Best
Breakfasts & Brunches

With so many amazing new eateries popping up in the Denver Metro Area, we’re more brunch crazy than ever (at least I know I am). Whether you’re looking for the most hype daydrinking experience or a cozy breakfast spot, there’s something in Denver for everyone. Here’s my favorite locally owned & operated brunches around the city, all of which are worth a try.
Be sure to tip your servers and bartenders, and tag The Mile High Millennial on your Instagram story when you go visit!

Bacon Social House is one of few places where I will wait any amount of time for a table. With a 6-piece flavored bacon flight, a bacon'-infused vodka Bloody Mary, and an extensive pork lover’s menu, this is easily my #1 favorite brunch place in Denver.

A Denver mainstay since 1982, The Delectable Egg’s 3 locations offer leveled-up breakfast classics made from scratch with fresh ingredients. All of both their sweet and savory dishes along with some mimosas make for a great start to the day.

With award-winning breakfast & lunch dishes made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, Urban Egg is a popular spot around Colorado. Creative dishes, innovative brunch cocktails, and an obsession with eggs make for an experience that won’t disappoint.

This quaint & homey rendezvous in the Berkley neighborhood offers “fresh to table” American & Mexican breakfast & lunch classics. Serving locally & sustainably sourced food with familial hospitality, Cozy Cottage makes for a lovely morning on the patio.

This black-owned brunch spot is my #1 go-to for any post-hangover morning. With an assortment of mimosas like you’ve never seen, bumping ambiance, stylish patrons, and delicious food (my fave being their shrimp & grits), this place has no shortage of fun.

North of downtown in Sunnyside, you can find this small breakfast nook busy with local regulars. The eclectic decor and mom-and-pop-shop feel makes for an intimate yet energetic atmosphere with many creative breakfasts.

If you're looking for a more hype brunch crowd to enjoy daydrinking alongside a good brunch menu, look no further than The Lobby. If bottomless mimosas aren't enough for your friends, parties of 5 or more get a giant dispenser on their table.

For those who want a spicier take on brunch, you can dine on elevated Mexican-fusion breakfast dishes in this cute uptown dig. Dive into bottomless mimosas with modern takes on brunch like chilaquiles, huevos divorciados, and chicken & churros.

The best waffles in Denver can be found nestled in a quaint uptown house with an endless variety of ways to enjoy them. I recommend their Original style, with crunchy little clumps of sugar throughout the batter. Enjoy in their homey backyard!

If you’re more keen on amazing food and less on day drinking, The French Press is a cozy option with an extensive menu. With great breakfast and lunch items it’s a nice blink-and-you’ll-miss-it spot away from the craziness of downtown brunch.

If the most absurdly gigantic biscuits you've ever seen in your life sounds like a good time, you'd be right. With some of the best scratch-made biscuits and innovative ingredients, you'll have as hard a time choosing from their many items as you will finishing them.
